This week we went out on Sheriff Street and got some more photos of the area to compare with today. The boys took the camera and tried to recreate the same scenes as the Colm Pierce photos.

This week we are comparing photos of our area in 1989 with photos of today. Here are our first two pictures. The old photos were taken by a man named Colm Pierce.

David and Goliath

David killed goliath with his sling and a stone. Goliath was 3 metres tall. David was an israelite and Goliath was a Phillistine. When David killed Goliath the Israelites won the war. David grew up and became king of Israel.
