The Ghostbusters by Aaron Smith

This is the start of a really cool Ghost Busters story by Aaron......
Once upon a time there was a brave boy named Aaron. He was brave because he kicked the Headless Horseman and Freddy Krouger, Jason and lots of ghosts around. He was the head of the Ghost Busters. Here are the names of the Ghost Busters, Scott, Dylan, Callum, Ben Adam, Brandon, Nathan, Dane, Shane and Cian. They were up to their biggest treat yet and the ghosts were Ms. Stafford, Andy and Mr. O' Leary. They were very smart because they work in a freaky school that wakes me up doing the a-roo-cha-cha............to be continued!

Autumn Art

The boys have been really busy learning all about Autumn. They have been writing Autumn poetry. The boys have learned about migration, hibernation, and leaves falling off the trees. Ask any of the boys the colours of Autumn as Gaeilge! We made some beautiful works of art, like our owls and our stained glass windows.

Autumn Art.

Welcome Back Adam!!!

Adam returned from his big trip to Australia for his sisters wedding. While Adam was away he kept a diary of his time in Australia. His diary is fantastic! The boys in our class had lots of questions for him, and Adam was full of information and facts about Australia. Adam told us all about the Eureka Tower, and made us jealous when he told us about his brothers swimming pool! He had a great time on holiday, you should ask him about Melbourne and the Australian animals he saw. Best of all Adam made it home just in time for the arrival of his new baby sister Niamh! Adam you will be a brilliant big brother and will have so much to teach Niamh! p.s.....Thanks for the Tim- Tams!

Autumn

Third Class have been writing some beautiful Acrostic Poems. An Acrostic Poem uses the letters in a topic word to begin each line. Here is an example of the lovely poems....

Autumn by Cian Kinlan

A tree looses it's leaves,
Up above the trees the grey clouds float,
The conkers fall off the trees.
Up above the trees the birds are flying home.
My hands are freezing
Nanny knitting, she is the best. I love my Nanny.
