The Oldest Photo From My Family Album
COWBOY
This photograph was taken in 1945 in a coal yard at the docks. In the photograph my Grandad has his hand on the horse. This is the horse he used to deliver the coal around Dublin city centre. In 1945 Elvis Presley made his 1st public appearance, he was 10.
My Christening
This is me on my christening day.
This Photo was taken on November 18 of 2000. In 2000 Warner Bros. announces it has cast 11-year-old British actor Daniel Radcliffe to play Harry Potter in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone.
MUMS CHRISTENING
This photograph was taken in 1974. It shows my mum my uncle and my nana. It is my mums Christening day. The photo was taken in my mums old house. My mum is wearing her Christening robe and they are sitting on the Christening shawl. Two of the most popular films in 1974 are 1.The godfather 2 and 2.The sting.
My nephew
This photograph was taken in 1988. It is my nephew Daryl and he was 3 months old, he is the eldest in my family. In 1988 Muhammad Ali beats Leon Spinks for the world heavyweight boxing title.
Mother Teresa and Aunt Elizabeth.
I think this photo was taken in 1993 when Mother Teresa visited Ireland. It is my aunt Elizabeth and Mother Teresa. In 1993 Steffi Graf won Wimbledon Tennis competition.
When I was a baby.
This picture was taken in 2000,I was 2 months old in the photo. I was in my Nanny.'s house.The Olmpics are held in Sydney Austrailia a record 10,651 athletes (4,069 of them women) from 199 nations participate.
Mam's communion
This photograph was taken in 1983. It was taken in ST. Lawrence O'tooles church. It is my Mam's communion day. In 1983 a horse called Shergar was stolen from a stud farm in Ireland and never found.
My Granddad saves lives
This photograph was taken in 1964. My Granddad was in Poland recovering a bomb from the ground. This was part of his duties in the Army. In 1964 The Sun newspaper was first launched.
FAMILY
This photograph was taken in 1959. My great aunts Noreen and Martina are on the window sill. My nanny and her sister Annette are holding them. My nanny was 14 in the photo. In 1959 the first 12 females were appointed to the Garda Siochona. The female recruits were treated differently in that their pay and living arrangements were not comparable to their male counterparts even though they have undertaken the same training programme and would be assigned the same duties.
