This week Rang a Trí have been learning all about the festival of Chinese New Year. This year is the Year of The Dragon. The Dragon is said to be afraid of the colour red, of loud noises, and of fire. So it is tradition in China to light red lanterns and set off fireworks to scare the dragon away.
